Stanley Fineman, M.D.
Stanley M. Fineman, M.D., MBA, has been in private allergy practice for more than 40 years. He earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine, completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of Cincinnati, and completed his Allergy and Immunology fellowship at Harvard University School of Medicine in Boston. Dr. Fineman is board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and participates in their Maintenance of Certification program. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology. In 1997 Dr. Fineman earned his MBA at Kennesaw State University.
In addition to authoring over forty scientific papers and serving on several editorial boards, Dr. Fineman has held numerous leadership positions in local, national, and worldwide allergy organizations. He has received several prestigious awards throughout his career including: Professional of the Year from the American Lung Association of Georgia and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Southeastern Allergy Association. In 2020, the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology presented Dr. Fineman the Gold Headed Cane Award for lifetime contributions to his profession. Dr. Fineman has been the Principal Investigator in more than forty clinical trials and recently has helped develop new therapies for patients with food allergy.
Dr. Fineman and his wife, Judy, have three children and seven grandsons that keep them busy. He also enjoys golf, skiing, jogging, and playing the drums. An avid runner, he has successfully completed the New York, Boston, Chicago, and Atlanta marathons.
